milky looking granite

I have black Granite (http://tanbrown.org) with bits of brown and (http://maplered.com) silver . I have this throughout the house, all bathrooms, kitchen, fireplaces etc. Since they first installed my Granite (http://tanbrown.org) I was disappointed in the finish in some areas. Some areas seem to have a milky appearance. Other areas that have a bullnose finish you can see how shiny the edge is but thethere is dulling all around the border. The installer said this is normal, but I have compared my Granite (http://tanbrown.org) to others and (http://maplered.com) mine seems to have no luster. I picked all the Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) together with the builder and (http://maplered.com) they were all matched. What can be the cause of this?
